As a person with white privilege, I will never fully understand the Black experience in America. No matter how much I educate myself and others, I will never share these experiences due to my privileges. I can, however, use my platform to inform and educate. It's not about me; we must listen and use our voices to promote change in our society.

An exploration of a classic, and one of my favorite typefaces, Futura.

As a designer, Saul Bass is one of my biggest inspirations. He utilizes his unconventional art style to create powerful imagery, simultaneously engaging and informing his audience. This is most notable in the title sequence of Alfred Hitchcock's groundbreaking 1960 psychological horror-thriller film, Psycho. I created a series of movie posters for The Birds, another notable Hitchcock film, that I reimagined in the style of Bass. Late Modernism and the Minimalist design movement continue to inspire my work, especially in conjunction to Bass' unique style.

Rachel Corrie was an American activist and member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), that sacrificed herself while trying to protect a Palestinian home from being destroyed by Israeli forces. This young and courageous woman stood up for her beliefs and is the embodiment of devotion and strength. This poster is part of a compilation of inspirational figures rendered by different artists for a local business.

Paul Rusesabagina is a Rwandan humanitarian who, while working as a concierge at the Hôtel des Mille Collines in Kigali, hid and protected 1,268 Hutu and Tutsi refugees from the Interahamwe militia during the Rwandan Genocide. He has received many rewards for his acts of bravery. This poster is part of a compilation of inspirational figures rendered by different artists for a local business.

The juxtaposition of the man-made and our natural world.

This exhibition was a collaborative effort among a group of designers at the State University of New York at Oswego. Each participant was assigned a color from a spectrum, hence the title "Spectra." This allowed for a vibrant and cohesive theme. The entire arrangement, overall theme and individual pieces were organized by all members of the group.
